How to Plan a Luxury Trip to Tongatapu
We all find luxury in different things; if yours is adventuring and unwinding in a tropical paradise that’s still fairly undiscovered, then you’re going to love Tongatapu. Tonga’s southernmost island group is home to a concise yet unique accommodation offering of beach/forest retreats, boutique lodges and international-style hotels. The experiences here also boast exclusivity where you can swim with humpback whales in one of the only places you can legally do so in the world, as well as play golf at the nation’s only golf course. So start planning your luxury retreat to Tonga with this luxury travel guide to Tongatapu.
Note that Tonga is free of five-star accommodations and services. Tongatapu is certainly a more down-to-earth holiday destination, which is perhaps not ideal for the most “precious” of travellers. While the standards of “luxury” might not be what you’re used to, you’ll still find some of the most premium available in the context of this developing nation listed in this guide.
